He isn’t Kanaka but I wanted to post his interview because of the experiences he had in Vietnam and I’ll write more on this later but right now my grandson is napping in my arms and I’m typing with one finger.

Bruce Lee Mathieu, 55, of Honolulu, a U.S. Army veteran, died in Straub Clinic & Hospital. He was born in Minneapolis. He is survived by wife Mary, son Joshua and mother Vione. Graveside services: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe. Casual attire. No flowers. (Honolulu Star Bulletin)
